When the Circle of Poxxus attacked the Tower of Bassylia and burned the library to the ground, Xue was one of the scholars who risked his life trying to protect the knowledge contained in that ancient collection. Having survived Poxxus’ attack and the subsequent battles of the Second Great War, Xue was named the library's new Master of Records.
